Canít decide whatís for dinner? Ask William Morrissey!

William has spent five years dishing out his favorite foods at Chap A Nosh Gourmet Delicatessen, and now he manages that division at Gourmet Glatt. Literally translated as “Grab A Snack,” Chap A Nosh began thirty years ago as a place to find favorite kosher fast foods and has evolved into a one-stop, full-service kosher food extravaganza! Today, it is one of this country’s finest Kosher caterers – from weddings and bar mitzvahs to parties large and small.

“Everything is made fresh right here on Gourmet Glatt’s premises, just as it should be,” William says. “Where else can you find so many choices of meat, fish, chicken, salads or kugels on a Tuesday afternoon? This is not just Shabbos food! Fifty percent of our business is Sunday through Wednesday, so people can find something quick and satisfying for lunch or dinner any day of the week. Not sure what to buy? Just ask me! Helping people make choices is the part I love most about working in this industry.”

“At Gourmet Glatt’s Chap A Nosh, tradition reigns supreme,” says William. “For instance, chulent is one of our best-sellers, but that doesn’t stop our chefs from being incredibly creative. We constantly introduce new items.” Try his braised veal, roast turkey, diet coleslaw, grilled Asian chicken salad with teriyaki cucumbers, among a host of other choices, and you’ll know what he means.

William sees to it that a parade of fabulous dishes are prepared daily in our own kitchens, so we’re able to offer both the largest selection and the freshest products to our customers. “It’s true that we cook a tremendous amount of food,” William asserts,”yet no matter the quantity, quality is never compromised. You have my word on that.”
